Do we collect IP Addresses?
Every computer connected to the Internet is given a set of numbers, that serve as that computer's "Internet Protocol" (IP) address. When a visitor requests a page, our Web servers automatically recognize that visitor's IP address. The IP address reveals nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our Site. In many cases such as residential internet & mobile internet connections, the IP address assigned may only be assigned for a short time and change when the device’s lease of the IP address expires. The IP address between several visits to the website may therefore change and this information is not tracked or used to identify an individual.
We use this information to examine our traffic in aggregate, and to investigate misuse of our Network, its users, or to cooperate with law enforcement. We do not collect and evaluate this information for specific individuals. Our Web servers do not automatically record e-mail addresses of the visitors.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, you can see it, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. You can ask for it to be erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information. You can also ask us to stop using your information at any time by emailing, writing or telephoning us using the contact details above.
This privacy notice was updated in February 2019. We regularly review and, if appropriate, update this privacy notice as our services and use of personal information evolves. Please send any questions about the privacy notice to DPO@firesand.co.uk
